Why the name?    
Since a website is a "home" (in computer talk) -- why not "doghouse?" The name has 3 easy to pronounce and easy to remember syllables -- thus easy to tell others about. Also it seems like the "doghouse" is where many of us computer geeks stay most of the time. Thus the name... "mydoghouse.com" 
 
Our business philosophy:    

There is an old saying: "Every dog has it's day!"
At mydoghouse.com we are filling the doghouse with average and hard working people just like you whose "day has come" when it comes to internet savings! We believe a dog's life can be a good life in mydoghouse. Therefore we are working hard to keep our prices low without sacrificing service. 

 
About the owner:    

Ed Thomason, is a 24 plus year resident and local minister for the New Madrid Missouri Church of Christ who uses the income from this venture to help in many good works in his community and congregation. He was the 2002 and 2003 event chairman and co-chairman for the highly successful New Madrid County Relay for Life that raised almost a quarter of a million dollars during the 2 years of his involvement. He and his wife own and publish the local newspaper in New Madrid "The Weekly Record." 
He is also an author, song writer and webmaster for several websites including:

And did we mention that he is a devoted grandfather of two grandsons and one granddaughter?

In June of 2006 he become editor of the local newspaper "The Weekly Record" and uses that medium to help mentor and encourage the local community.
