ABOUT Easy Dialer:

Easy Dialer is an easy to use dial-up program. It is similar to the one that comes with your WindowsTM operating system (Dial-up Connection).
mydoghouse.com is giving this program to it's dial-up customers as freeware.

Freeware means:

  • You may copy and distribute the program free of charge. Please send us a copy if you include it on any CD or other collection.
  • You may NOT disassemble or modify the program in any way without written permission.
  • There is no guaranteed support other than this web page.
  • You are using the program at your own risk.
  • You have to agree to all of the above before using the program.

So far we have tested the program on: Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and XP

 

SET UP INSTRUCTIONS: (print these instructions)

1. First go to windows explorer or my documents and make a new folder and rename it as "EasyDialer."

2. Download the self-extracting file to your new folder "EasyDialer"

3. Go to that folder and Extract it by double clicking on the icon.

4. Several icons will appear in the new folder. Double click on setup.exe and follow instructions

5. The icon for mydoghouse or easydialer will appear on your desktop. RIGHT CLICK on it. 

- The Easy Dialer icon Stays in your system tray for easy access.
If and when it appears on the lower tool bar of your computer - again you can RIGHT CLICK on the icon and choose "Show Easy Dialer" 

6. All you have to do is enter your user name (log-on name), password and the access/phone number. You should have received all three from Ed at mydoghouse after your payment was received. If not, ask. If you want Easy Dialer to remember your password, put a checkmark next to where it says 'Save password'.

7. If you need to dial 9 to get an outside line or if you need to disable call waiting, you can add all dialing codes into the Access/Phone Number field. Now you're ready to go.

8. Click on connect and wait. When connected, Easy Dialer will open your default web browser and take you to your start page. The connection time will keep track of how much time you spent on-line.

Bug Reports - Patches:

- If you get an error message "CANNOT FIND THE PHONE BOOK ENTRY", then please update your Internet Explorer to a newer version.
