How much will my service cost me initially?
As you might suspect, mydoghouse.com is a bare "bones" service and in order to save you money we request that your regular payments be quarterly (every 3 months) or annually. However, with your first month's purchase we attempt to be fair to you by prorating the first month's charge as follows.

*See further explanation below

Sign up Date x Payment x
Between 1-8 Full service fee
Between 9-16 prorated $1 less
Between 17-31 prorated $2 less

Explanation of table above

If you sign up between the 1-8 days of the month
You pay the full service fee for this quarter

If you sign up between the 9-16 days of the month
You pay $1 less than the full service fee (to be credited to your account on the next billing cycle)

If you sign up between the 17-31 days of the month
You pay $2 less than the full service fee (to be credited to your account on the next billing cycle)

New Payment Policy as of  4//06

In order to keep our costs low for everyone and due to time restraints associated with book-keeping and the reluctance of a few of our customers to pay "on time" we are forced to revise and enforce our payment policy.

We do not have a problem with the majority of our customers and we are thankful if you are one of those who are always prompt with your payment. You are helping to keep our prices low for everyone.

As of now, you will receive a "one time" payment due reminder by "email" or "postcard" (if you prefer*). It will be mailed between the 1st and 15th of the month (about 2 1/2 or 3 weeks before payment is due. For example: If your account is paid up from January 1 thru March 31 (3 months) then your payment due date will be Mar 20 if payment is by mail and the 25th if payment is by PayPal. You should get a reminder around the 10th of that month before the due date.

If payment has not been received by noon on the last day of the month, your account will be suspended until payment is made. Even if your payment is "in the mail," if it has not been received the policy will still be enforced. So please plan to send your payment to us in plenty of time for the mail to run. If you pay electronically by PayPal, the same policy applies. So please make your payments prompt and as early as possible and save us and you some embarrassment.

We no longer will charge "late fees." However, there will be an additional $6 charge to "reconnect" and set up your account. This fee must be made along with your payment before we "reconnect" your account.

If you have any questions about this new policy please contact us.

Please help us keep our costs low by continuing to make prompt payments and referring us t your friends and family.

Best wishes,

Ed     support@mydoghouse.com

*NOTE: If you prefer to be notified as to when your payment is due by "postcard" rather than email, please let us know. We want you to have the best option for you. (Those already being notified by postcard need not respond.)

Error messages and problems

If you have a problem with our service we want to know about it. Don’t wait. Please let us know your full name (for example we have many “Joe’s” so be specific with your identity.) Give us any error messages that occur and be specific. Remember that sometimes if you do not shut down correctly that can cause problems and that “re-booting” your computer (turn off and then on) will reset things. Many people blame their ISP when the problem is really within their software or computer. We are glad to help where we can but your computer tech may also be someone you will wish to call.  You can email us at support@mydoghouse.com or call and leave your name and phone number and what problem you are having and when best to call you back and we will be glad to get back with you. Sometimes you can fix things yourself by checking our trouble page. www.mydoghouse.com/trouble.htm  We appreciate you and want all our pups to be happy.
